Difference Between Salesforce & Force.com?

Force.com	Slesforce.com
1.Force.com is based on PaaS API	1. SF.com is based on SaaS (vendor)
2. Sf.com is an application build on      force.com platform	2. SF.com is hosted on Force.com
3. Force.com License 3 times cheaper     than SF.com License but takes 3     times effort & time to build Apps      than Salesforce.com	3. SF.com & Force.com are more/less     interchangeable
4. Force.com generally used to refer     underlying platform (DB, Code,UI     on which all the Apps are built).	4. SF.com generally used to refer CRM functionality(Sales,Services,Marketing)
